[Noisebridge-discuss] Human powereed DDOS idea

I was thinking of mounting a DDOS attack on one of my favorite electronics
dealers web sites. I was thinking that a good way to bring the site down
would be to tell everyone that they were having a "Free Sale". I figure
thousands of people would sit by their computers clicking the Refresh button
like so many monkeys for hours on end. 

Do you think this would be effective?
