[Noisebridge-discuss] Huge roof leak!

For those who thought that maybe we should not have patched it up yet,
but let the ceiling interior dry out first, and/or wait for more rain to
see if we really won't get any more leaks, we got overruled by Mr Ho,
the actual owner. I spoke with him on the phone earlier tonight. He is
confident that the roof will not leak any more, as the roof drain is now
unclogged, and that the ceiling interior will not become problematically
moldy.

The bit about the roof drain deserves two more comments. One, it was
blocked with garbage, including a beer bottle. Noisebridgers are not
the only people with access to that roof so it may well not have been
one of us who left a beer bottle up there, but it's just as well to
reiterate that we committed not to be up on the roof for any reason
other than to install something.

The second thing is that the leaking was due to this blockage, which
created a lot of standing water up there, which clearly overflowed into
some cracks or something, which is where the leak came from. With
normal drainage back, it actually does make sense to expect no further
leaking. (But let's keep an eye on the ceiling anyway!)
