sorry for the double post but that seems fairly subjective. no, it's not
necessarily the case that a group is always led by a single person but it
seems to happen a lot. and in the cases where the OP thinks it'd be a good
idea for others to pick up the ball and run with it when they aren't around
they can easily make that known to people. 'here's something i wanna do but
i'm not gonna be around all the time for it so if anyone wants to they can
take the initiative to set it up in my place when i'm not there'. again,
seems simple enough. if you want we can look at this in the same 'why make
fixes before there's a problem?' line of thinking. there's no proof that a
simple optional contact field encourages people to think a certain way about
group leadership so why worry about it until it arises?
