My place is on Treasure Island, by SF, a short bus ride into the main 
transit hub, and I have a couchsurfing.org profile. You'd be welcome to 
stay, BUT, I possibly won't be back right on Aug 2nd, as DefCon is the 
preceding weekend, and I usually stay an extra day to help clean up and 
pack. As of the 3rd, you'd be more than welcome to crash here - we have 
a wide, long, flat couch for visitors to sleep on, and I have an extra 
Noisebridge key for nerdy visitors.
