[Noisebridge-discuss] Science for Juggalos

I've been holding off chiming in on this for a while. I have a few odd
thoughts on it, having had friends that /became/ juggalos. My friends are
not stupid (I don't really have any patience for that), they just like to
rattle the cage of society in their own midwestern style. Your average
teenage anarchy doesn't go over so well in a low-population-density place.

Keep in mind that the topic of the song /is/ about the wonder of the
universe. Believe it or not, ICP took a remarkably spiritual bent a couple
of years ago and the juggalos have followed along.

I remember discussing with colleagues at the last place I worked how I
thought it was sweet and a little romantic to discuss the physics behind why
the sky is blue. They felt quite the opposite - that knowing what makes the
sky blue takes the romance out. It'd be really cool if discussion on how
these things work would open up all new avenues for wonderment. It's not
exactly as if the great thinkers who came up with these cool ideas lacked a
sense of wonder.

These are just guys who are dissatisfied with following the rules, rank and
file of the world as they're told. In other words, they have a lot in
common with the hacker mentality, they just express it differently.
