BTW, I was serious about needing to be alert to the possibilities of
dangerous wildlife. As I mentioned, there are cougars, wild boars, and tule
elk in this area, but I forgot to mention rattlesnakes. The mammals will
probably try to stay clear of you but the snakes not so much. Here is a site
