I'm actually not sure we do bring in that much.

I last collected the money from the drink tin on Monday.  Since the
last costco run, $156 had been collected.
The costco run itself cost about $260, and I was told about half the
items are gone.  So we're looking at a small return, but no loss.
We seem to have gotten progressively worse at this.  I remember last
October and early November, we would routinely bring in $1+ per soda.
But from then on, we've wound up just $40-50 over the cost pretty
routinely.  I think it's clear this isn't a realistic funding source
for Noisebridge... but it buys us toilet paper, so it's still good :)
