I was going to come in later and fool around with some bulk surface
mount soldering.

At one time there was a toaster oven on the hack shelf with a "USE ME
FOR SMD" label. Is that still there?
I may check out hot plates in the thrift stores on the way over, too,
unless we have one already. Bueller?

Nothing I'm doing needs high precision temp control... yet...
