[Noisebridge-discuss] seeking low-cost cell phone alternative(s)

I'm looking for a low-cost alternative to a standard
cell phone plan. I understand that if I use a special setup program on the NB 
server together with a low-cost provider, I can accomplish this goal. I spoke to 
someone at NB a few months back about this combination, but I've forgotten the 
details. Can anyone provide me with more info? Thank you.
