[Noisebridge-discuss] wireless speakers, &c. for hearing-impaired

My dad and I are buying my grandmother a big-screen flat-panel TV for
her room at the nursing home and want a speaker that can sit near her
so she can hear it (she's hearing-impaired, not deaf).

I'm wondering where I might find such things.  Simplicity is
important, since this is a grandmother and so a minimum of buttons,
cables, RFI, and power switches is important.

Things I'm looking for:
Wireless self-powered speakers (an amp would be too complicated for her)
Wireless headphones
Line-level wireless links (would work to push a line-level anywhere)
Other options
