Another idea that has fascinated me is the concept of a wireless dead
drop.
I don't know exactly how one would do it, but there are several
possibilities.
The actual location, purpose or ownership of said drop could be
unknown.
I sure wish transferring data over radio (i.e. between cell phones)
was easier. I haven't looked into bluetooth, but it seems like it
should be easier to securely transmit data to a person (and just that
person), without requiring them to exchange too much information or
key it in.
Old Palms and PDAs had a IR link.
