A friend of mine is working for a startup that is creating a new bike-share system that can be deployed in big and little cities. The idea of bike-share is: there are zillions of bikes locked to bikeracks all over town, and when you want to use a bike, you grab one, ride it, park it at any other bikerack in the system, and go on your way.

They are looking for a new firmware engineer who can program a small ARM-based board running Linux. I don't have a total picture of their system, but to my understanding the firmware controls a GPS, and communicates through GSM to the rest of the system.

If you think your experience makes you qualified to work on a system like this, please contact:
     Mike Castleman <m at mlcastle.net>
and he'll give you more info.

Mitch.
