[Noisebridge-discuss] Have JTAG-fu? Willing to share?

I'm in the middle of a project that is likely going to need some reverse
engineering of a binary driver for a wireless device on a MIPS platform. As
I'm really just having to port and modify a driver that already exists, I'm
just left finding out what are the right places in memory to poke.

As the device I'm experimenting with already has an unpopulated JTAG header,
I'm thinking I may be able to find what I need in there.

This is the point where I've realized that I'm going to have to learn
something new. I've never used JTAG before, and only have a general idea of
how it should work.

Is there anyone local with some JTAG equipment that would be willing to show
me the ropes?

Cheers,
Jof
