That's a pretty cool system, and surprisingly reasonably priced.
If I weren't a developer, I'd probably find it suitable for my purposes.
Since I am, I have a few nits with it though:
1) uses a custom mesh wireless network technology
a pretty cool idea generally - I wish our normal WIFI APs did mesh
networking - but not sure about the details of a proprietary
protocol, interference, etc.
2) Still kinda pricey for my tastes ($350/unit)
3) Requires you to use their hardware & speakers
Pretty much implicit with their networking technology
4) Can't share it with people for free the way I could if I wrote it
5) Not clearly an open design
Perhaps there is a way to hook my IDS into it, but not sure.
6) Not F/LOSS - runs on Mac and Win, not Lin
