I think I know what's wrong.

The modem for the Sonic.net connection is having problems and needs to
be constantly reset at this point -- so routing through Sonic.net is
problematic right now.

This issue is coupled with the fact that the DHCP server in the space
is serving out a DNS server set of 172.30.0.1 and 8.8.8.8. The router
that is at 172.30.0.1 still has a default gateway through Sonic.net.

So for end users using the web, they'll most likely have to wait for
their request to 172.30.0.1 to time out, which it'll then fall back on
8.8.8.8 and work right away.
I'm trying to log in now to ameliorate the situation.

If someone is at Noisebridge and wants to do something helpful, reset
the DSL modem on the floor by the DJ booth.
