Jonathan Zamick, who has been building bee hives with Mike at AMT, is
going to speak on Thursday, May 5, at some length on bee keeping.

He said that could cover:

About honeybees. Background, current issues with colony collapse
disorder, trends in urban farming
Basic starting hive setup. Minimal requirements, cost breakdown.
Common issues for beginning beeks. Feeding, making sure you get
straight comb, stings, etc.
Q&A

This will be in lieu of the normal agenda except for any emergency
issues or quick updates.

I know a number of us expressed interest in learning more about bee
keeping so this is our chance.
