Cool!

This is probably a Halbach array designed to concentrate an intense
field in a small area. Unlikely to attract knives from across the
room, but I'd be careful with that forklift.

While they should still be treated with respect, AlNiCo magnets are
about 20% as strong as the neodymium magnets responsible for thins
like this (warning, graphic picture as suggested by the URL)

And even those are not nearly as strong as the superconducting coils
used in MR imagers. If you want an entertaining few minutes, search
