Our collective unwillingness to make the emails available -- I
still do not have them and I am supposedly the evidence
collector -- makes it basically impossible for anyone not in
the room yesterday evening (or not privy to the secret
circulation of evidence) to come to the conclusion that
Patrick's banishment is well motivated. We have essentially
conducted a secret trial, complete with secret evidence and
secret proceedings (the real meeting minutes are still
  eyes-only). It's a little weird, isn't it?

We have allowed ourselves the luxury of secret accusation,
trial and sentencing because this matter falls under the
rubric of sexual harassment. From the outside, this makes what
happened all the less credible. It would not be first time in
NB's history that accusations of discrimination, harassment
and bigotry were employed to add organizational force to more
  ambiguous, personal grievances.

Just the same, I can only support slapping down the ban hammer
on Patrick. His amorous approaches to people at Noisebridge go
beyond mere awkwardness to real harassment and threat.
