[Noisebridge-discuss] I want to make an Eckbox and I need help

Hey Emmy,

That's a neat project. However the hardware instructions on the site
are completely inadequate and missing a lot of critical information:
if you try to follow them you are likely to get frustrated. (I'm
frustrated just reading them: parallel-output ADCs need control
signals besides the data lines and these are mentioned nowhere.)

My suggestion: start with something less gnarly, for example this EM
detector kit (ignore stupid copy, it's actually technically solid)
http://www.ramseyelectronics.com/cgi-bin/commerce.exe?preadd=action&key=TFM3C

Then maybe hang out with the software-defined radio people: one of
those SDR front ends may be just what you need.
