I also happen to host a bunch of sites for free for friends.  It is a cPanel
based server and I actually perform daily, weekly and monthly backups to a
secondary drive in the machine.  It is at a real datacenter and I actually
OWN the hardware.  You can meet me or already have.   You do need your own
registrar however.
