[Noisebridge-discuss] Turing Classroom Sunday Night?

   seems to me we do have some convention for reserving 
resources: 
* use of space is either as a one-time or repeating event. 
  notify and make claim by editing the noisebridge wiki's 
  front page and adding your claim. i believe people have 
  respected such. in the case of an event with lots of 
  attendees or really stinky or noisy, announcing at a 
  tuesday 8 PM meeting seems to have been expected. 
* use of things: generally "put a note on it" seems to be 
  generally given, if not followed, advice. 

   we've had contentions for spaces in the past, and those 
i know of have been resolved in favor of the group with an 
announced claim over a group that just showed up hopefully. 
   there is a google group calendar for noisebridge, but 
my opinion, and i believe the opinions of some others, is 
that the noisebridge wiki front page list is the more 
respected (the noisebridge wiki is editable by anyone and 
the google calendar is not: one has to ask around to find 
someone with permissions). my feeling is the wiki is more 
open to everyone as well as more "hackerly". 

   short version: it can't hurt to somehow make some kind 
of claim or announcement in advance.
