Yep it's definitely gotten out of hand.  We've been keeping it down to a
dull roar by just blocking and reverting manually, I can make you a wiki
Administrator so you can block users but I don't know your wiki
username?

I would really love to implement the Adafruit resistor CAPTCHA for
account creation, see for example:
http://www.adafruit.com/blog/2011/07/01/part-finder-friday-ir-leds/

(It's not great for RG-colorblind folks, of which we have plenty, but I
don't have a much better suggestion...)
