A long while ago the ML group had a presentation on SVMs, but
no workshop. Given the success of the Random Forest workshop
a few weeks ago, I'd like to put together an R workshop on SVMs.

I found a nice paper from 2006 detailing SVM packages in R:

Things have probably changed since the paper, but this Wednesday
I was gonna come in and start hacking together a workshop using
R for SVMs. Anybody interested in helping?
