[Noisebridge-discuss] Solar-power radios popping up around the Mission

Looks like a ShotSpotter. I can't think of anything else that would
involve bolting a solar panel to a city-owned pole that already has AC
service. The board of supervisors has wanted to expand the existing
GDS network into the Mission since at least 2008. I guess they
finally found the cash to do it:

The parking meters use a mishmash of technologies, but I don't
recognize that antenna belonging to any of the systems I know about.
I know at least 802.15.4 was involved by one bidder on the city
contract; omnis on base stations are a terrible idea for 802.15.4
though.
