[Noisebridge-discuss] Open Source Software for Local Gov't, i'm a Rent Board Commissioner in Berkeley looking for help

my company, systemateka, focuses on open source software.
i am interested in learning more about this project. informally
i support the partimus effort to get open source software in
sf bay area schools. some years ago i worked as the system
administrator for the US Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit
(based in san francisco, covering the western states), my
primary responsibility was as dba for the docketing database.

without more information (such has the numbers of fields
and records, bandwidth requirements, administrative roles,
platform information such as type of host(s) and operating
systems, and more), i don't think it's a good idea to throw
out suggestions.

i'm responding on list as a matter of transparency. my
interest is genuine: however a solution is developed, i'd like
to know of it. i will also reply off-list. if anyone on the
list wants to know how my off-list correspondence proceeds,
let me know and i'll share.
