99.9999% of founders of startups also do not get rich (just stressed out). If you're looking to get rich as a primary goal, then this email list is probably not the best suited for your goals.  On the other hand, if you're interested in exploring and (ultimately) doing what you love, whether or not it makes you money (and with a decent possibility that it may), then you've found the right place!
In any case, welcome to San Francisco.  Since, from your short description, it sounds like it is home for awhile, I hope you will love it here.  You are always welcome at Noisebridge, as long as you follow our one rule:  Be excellent to each other.  So, come by any time, day or night, any day. Not just programming, but also cooking, sewing, craft, art, photography, machine shop, electronics, lock picking, biology, space exploration, science, German language, and many other areas of interest are explored and supported at Noisebridge.
