[Noisebridge-discuss] Hardware donation for Noisebridge

Hi,

My company makes an Arduino-compatible board called Teensy. On the last
batch, some of the USB connectors discolored slightly. An engineer at
Molex assured me the damage is only cosmetic, and indeed when tested
they work fine. But rather than sell these as normal products, I
thought maybe this is a perfect opportunity to reach out to
hackerspaces... with free hardware!

Teensy is similar in size and capability to Arduino Nano. But unlike
any official Arduino board, Teensy is a native USB device. When used in
serial mode, communication is at full USB speed. Teensy can also be
used as a USB Keyboard, Joystick, MIDI or other types, integrated with
the Arduino IDE. For example, as a USB keyboard, you use
Keyboard.print("whatever"). Here's the website with all the details.

If your group could make use of these boards, please just let me know
who's the best person to talk with, and where I should mail them?

We always love to see the creative things people do with Teensy. There's
a projects page with photos and links to projects people have made.

I hope you'll have fun with Teensy and let us know what you end up building!

-Paul
