I would suggest that if you do not agree with what your employer is saying
about it's competition, you should do a few things.  First and foremost is
start looking for a new job.  If you do not like the way your company is
headed, it affects your work ethic and thus your performance.  This could
impact a positive reference.  Another thing to do would be to bring this up
with your boss.  This could backfire which is why you should start looking
for a new job first, even if you can put this behind you.
