here is a snippet from a story about someone arrested saturday night:

Prosecutors said Casillas, a philosophy major at San Francisco State
University, had struck one officer in the face with the bicycle and
injured another who tried to stop him. He pleaded not guilty Thursday to
one felony count of assaulting a police officer.

Briggs said that according to police reports, three officers who witnessed
the alleged attack were wearing video cameras on their chests, but all
three said the devices malfunctioned.

Briggs alleged that officers had beaten Casillas, and that authorities had
later denied him medical attention for cuts to his face and abrasions on
his arms and legs.

"If the police say what happened happened," Briggs said, "my client should
not have those injuries."
