    i meant it in reverse. 
    i like open hardware/software/whatever, it's morally good 
and right. 
    somehow i can't work up a big sweat about knock off shops 
that are making a buck by cloning other manufacturer's stuff. 
(i don't like faking the brand name, i.e. brand theft, but not 
all knock off stuff is falsely branded....) 

    there's a lot of open software that's creative in its own 
right, e.g. gimp. there's even the occasional not-made-for-windows 
products, an especially joy for me. 
    and there's no way to copyright the expression of a workflow. 
patents are another thing, i.e. more nearly evil.
