Howdy. First post to this mailing list. Thank you for existing.

i am attempting to put together gear for portable electronic music
performance, probably set up on a bike trailer.
i will be using an arduino-based infrared gestural midi controller called
Hollowbook - i've demoed it at Noisebridge a couple of times, you can check
it out here: http://youtu.be/2OmqivEHpC8

My electrical knowledge is limited. my goal is purchase a durable and
lasting portable power system for the following items:

40w 19v DC 2.1A power adapter for Asus ul20a laptop
9v AC 1A adapter for m-audio quattro
7.5w 9v DC 500mA adapter for hollowbook (power over usb from laptop is not
an option)
POSSIBLY a boom-box style speaker system of modest volume but undetermined
wattage...

i have been looking into portable power systems such as
these<http://www.amazon.com/s/ref=nb_sb_noss_2?url=search-alias%3Dautomotive&field-keywords=portable+power>
found
in a cursory Amazon search. i hoped to get some opinions from more
experienced people as to what would be a good move. an option which i have
considered is to purchase a separate battery powered amp to replace the
speaker system if there would be too much load on a portable power supply
otherwise. i would hope to be able to perform for at least 2 hours. i'm
absolutely not looking for loudness - my goal is to fly below the "no
amplified music" radar and play downtempo, instrumental chillout music with
an awesome and unique midi controller. Valencia street has a lot of foot
traffic at night and would be the perfect place to drum up a local fanbase.

Thank you sincerely for your time. i hope my post was in good taste and
finds you all well.
best wishes

Lewis

you can hear my music at http://music.ratsofnym.com ... it's a
spaghetti-western themed instrumental hip hop album... please let me know
if you would like to own the album, i'd be happy to give you a free copy of
either the mp3s or an antiquated compact disquette.
