[Noisebridge-discuss] Anyone interested in reverse engineering an Avocent IP KVM

I have a DSR1161 IP KVM switch. For those unfamiliar with what this
does, it lets you hook up keyboards/mice/monitors to the switch and
you can remote in and control the PC. It allows up to 16 PCs. I have 3
or 4 dongles sitting around.

The problem is that these switches run a proprietary protocol. I do
have the official software for it but I needed to "patch" it to get it
to function.

This is the switch:

If anyone is interested in hacking on it (or just wants the switch for
free) let me know and I can set you up. Otherwise I am not sure what
the heck to do with it.
