A bunch of Noisebridge folks (and lots of other friendly scientific people) were at Science Hack Day this weekend in SOMA.  (I set up a Hardware Hacking Area where people could create (and fix) hardware for their projects, including, of course, plenty of soldering irons, as well as Arduinos.)
