Ladies and gentlemen, tonight, Geek Comedy Night at the MADE (Museum of Art and Digital Entertainment) returns in full force with geek rock from Kessel Run plus several of the Bay area's finest stand up comics.

Plus, there shall be a raffle and cupcakes.

Because you just can't argue with a good cupcake.

Here we go:

You live in the Bay area, the veritable HEART of geekdom, nerdery and sheer freaking awesomeness.

Thus, it's time that geek comedy came to the Bay area.

And come it shall...

On Thursday, October 11th, no less than SIX (seis) of the best geek-oriented comics in the Bay area will come to and one killer nerd music bands will gather for one amazing night of stand up comedy. These five, their brains are packed with video games, manga, anime, science fiction, bad horror movies, technology, pop culture, the sheer horror of dating and anything else that happens to be bouncing around in their frontal lobes, will bring you two hours of funny as if their lives depended on it.

The Lineup:
Kessel Run: Kessel Run is a geek rock duo comprised of Doug Crawford and Seth Dahlgren. We sing about ninjas, Zerglings, Hitchhiker's Guide and love.

Eric Cash: Eric Cash is a rock and roll comedian for the nerd set; he describes his own work as "comedy for people who hate comedy." Five years on tour in the punk rock underground with The Know-Nothing Family Circus
Sideshow and ten years as an independent street performer: These are hardly the average background of a stand-up comedian. But maybe they should be -- Cash is equal parts furious, literate, and funny. Cash has made appearances on HBO’s "Real Sex," the Discovery Channel's "Shocked and Amazed," in the pages of Hustler Magazine, and he features in the upcoming web series "Batgirl: Spoiled" in which he will play "Tentacles,” a villain modeled after himself.

"A chaotic-good arthouse anarchist" -- CourtingComedy

F.C. Sierra: F.C. Sierra was born in the dark. Molded by it. He did not see the light until he was already a man, and by then it was nothing to him but blinding. The shadows betray others because they belong to F.C. He will show you where he has made his home whilst preparing to bring--dick jokes.

Emily Van Dyke: Female, geeky, funny as hell and amazing. And that's just when she walks in the door.

Mean Dave: Mean Dave was forged in the fires of indifference, apathy, experimental metal-derived noise, LSD, video game testing environments, ganja, the Tick cartoons, Triumph the Insult Comic Dog, Ol' Dirty Wu-Tang styles, and your mama. A devout follower of the Melvins, this character has transcended most role-playing game environments into the so-called "real world" and has been a real nuisance and pest to the local comedy scene for nearly 3 years. Dave also has a highly unpopular internet radio show/podcast called In the Meantime with Mean Dave on FCC Free Radio every Sunday 10pm-midnight where his character regains health and mana each and every week.

Christopher John: Christopher John is funny.

Chris Barylick: A recent transplant to the Bay area from Washington, D.C. and founder of the Geek Comedy Tour, Chris combines high energy, video games, technology, the horrors of dating and is afraid of popsicles. Like Liam Neeson, he once totally punched a wolf in the face.

When: Thursday, October 11th, 8 PM.

Where: The MADE (Museum of Art and Digital Entertainment), 610 16th St.
Suite 230
Oakland, CA 94612

Dial "#0230" on the box to get in.

Price: A $5.00 donation to the MADE at the door and tip the comics if you feel like it…

Raffle: You'd better believe that we shall be raffling off cool geek/gamer swag. Raffle tickets are a mere dollar and the t-shirts, video games and gaming swag shall make you more desirable to the people you're attracted to.

BYOB: Go for it.

Also, there shall be cupcakes and edible eyeballs.

Why: Because these are some of the best nerd comics and one of the best nerd bands in the area, their brains are swimming with geekdom and comedy tends to rock. Also, we're including a raffle at the end of the show and will be handing out cool goodies like free t-shirts and random-but-awesome video games.

October 11th...BE THERE!!!
