Hi everyone,

I'm working with a group of parents at Brightworks<http://sfbrightworks.org/>,
an experimental K-12 school in the Mission on Bryant st, who are putting on
a Mini Maker Faire in the Mission. The school structures its pedagogy
around project and tinkering-based learning, and they are really excited
about organizing a celebration of maker culture.

On Sunday January 27th, Brightworks will be putting on a Mini Maker Faire
in the Mission to showcase the local maker spirit that permeates the
neighborhood. They are currently looking for locations that might be
willing to open their doors to the Faire as well as makers who would like
to be a part of the event. Their plan is to have a distributed network of
maker sites that vistors would travel to throughout the mission.

-If you are interested in participating as a maker in the event, you can
read the "call for makers"
here<http://www.missionmakerfaire.com/call-for-makers/>.

-If you have ideas for venues that might be interested in participating as
a node in the distributed network of Maker sites, you can reply to me
directly.

Thanks,
