[Noisebridge-discuss] Public Terminal missing hard drives

the public terminal was not missing anything.

have you all forgotten how computers work? When the drive became
non-bootable for whatever reason, the message when the computer started up
was "boot device not found" or something like that.

The drive is still there, and still full of data, but wasn't booting for
whatever reason. I borrowed an ubuntu 12.04 disc from Ramon and when i
left last night it was in the process of installing "alongside" the old
install, so it basically shrank the old partition and made a new install.
Hopefully people's data will still be there if they need it.

nothing was removed from the computer.
