It's a bit haphazard at the moment (which is one of the reasons for
running a list). When people do it at the meetings I've been at, if
people don't recall that an event is happening, they've tried to find an
email contact on the wiki page, and if there isn't one, left a note
saying on that page that the event's been removed and why.

I think there's probably a better way to do that, but I don't see why it
shouldn't include that procedure too...
