[Noisebridge-discuss] in another one of my ADD ideas -- a list for event organizers at NB?

Let me see if I'm understanding.

There are some classes/workshops/events listed under the "Recurring Events" section of our websit that are no longer active, and the people who led those now inactive classes/workshops/events have not removed them from the website, and thus no one else can easily know if they should be removed from our website.

Is the above the problem you're trying to solve?

To attempt to solve the problem, you are proposing that everyone who lists a class/workshop/event on the website join an email list called "event-handlers" so that people who want to know if a class/workshop/event is active can ask on that list (or ask any other questions of people who list their classes/workshops/events).

Is this accurate?

I think this is a good idea.

One thing I'm wondering how to solve: for people who want to add a class/workshop/event to the website, how do we let them know that part of the procedure is to join the "event-handlers" email list?

Mitch.
