Rubin,

just because you're not personally interested in having donated hardware 
for hacking purposes does NOT mean you should try to convince people not 
to donate stuff to noisebridge.

often times people donating stuff don't even know what they have, it's 
just a box of things that, as non-hackers, they think might all be 
useless.  Our most valuable donations come from people like that.

If you think there is a problem with too much raw material in the space, 
you should ask the people doing hardware hacking feel that way.  I think 
you'll find that hardware hackers like having a good selection of raw 
materials.

If you think there is too much e-waste building up in the space, i agree 
with you but the solution is to improve our outflow of e-waste and 
processing of donations, which i have volunteered to do, rather than choke 
off our supply, and in a way, throw away one of our most valuable 
resources for raw materials.

Also, the way you posted your message makes it sound as if you're speaking 
for the collective rather than just for yourself and those who agree with 
you.
