How about a completely randomized siren with average interval around 15 minutes and duration around 3 seconds? Name it "The Spanish Inquisition."

I should not, for context, that the Hacking Ethics mural is nearly worshipped; everyone who wishes to be a Hacker is customarily taken to the Ethics first and made to read them in detail, attempting to cement True Hacking Ethics in everyone who ever hacks at all. On the other hand, there's also some aura around the Ethics, saying that "Hacking is illegal, but if you get caught and are following the ethics, you'll be punished less." I'm not sure such a aura can be easily replicated when participating at Noisebridge is not illegal.

I don't know if this is something currently implemented, having never attempted to sleep at nb, but I do believe it fits 'be excellent to each other'.
