I think the issues in this thread (feces and urine in the shop, and
bottles of urine being left elsewhere) are ideal examples of behavior
that is unlikely to be prevented by posting signs with rules or
guidelines. Can anyone imagine someone believing it was ok to do these
things, but then, upon seeing a sign declaring that this is unacceptable
behavior, realizing the error of their ways? I certainly can't.
(Meanwhile, what effect might such signs have on the vast majority of
people who would never consider leaving bottles of urine in the space?)

yours!

If anyone knows the source of any kind of mess left in the space, please
ask the persons responsible to clean up their mess!

A few days ago while I was at Noisebridge a grey dog was seen urinating.
The person who saw it got up and located the dogs owner, who promptly
cleaned it up. I think it should be entirely uncontroversial to say that
if your dog isn't house trained you shouldn't bring it to Noisebridge.
But I don't think we need a sign to that effect.
