Garrett, you need to take to heart the difference between clinical
observation and population study.  Then you will be able to disabuse
yourself of the notion that you can extrapolate generalizations about
"women" and "men" (which I put in quotes because these are not two
homogeneous groups by any stretch of the imagination).

Please keep in mind, the media does not report science accurately, and they
are particularly bad at conveying this particular point.
