Grins- When I was in town this past August, I'd put in a trivial = maybe
half hour?tools or so time simply wiping off and hanging tools on the
hooks. Which directs to a suggestion I've implemented in MANY other shops:

Paint tool outlines on the Pegboard. AND label the outlines. Even
contemplating some scheme for Etching/lasering/engraving etc all
donated&purchased tools worthy of that.

Ah- the bonushack being RFID.

One wild arsed scheme we'd discussed was snapping pics of major tools and
laminating annotated pics for the usual reasons. Safety
instructs&non-obvious operating triviata such as reset buttons/what size
hex keys andor wrenches for bit&blade swaps. Dedicating a wrench/Hex key
for chain down etc to the tool it is used for.

ALL of the above can keep a shop looking closer to fine.
