[Noisebridge-discuss] Bands for Noisebridge Fundraiser

I'm definitely interested in performing and coordinating music as part of a
Noisebridge Fundraiser (I've updated the wiki entry here[1]), especially if
it is in April.  I'd like to hear of any past experiences with music in the
space, or if anyone strongly supports/disapproves of the idea.  I want to
state multiple times that nothing is confirmed at this point unless others
feel live bands are appropriate.

On the pleasant side:

Carl & Beatrice [2] - We build our own instruments and have already started
writing songs for Noisebridge.
Dubious Ranger [3] - Afro-beat rock band that builds their own percussion
and has lots of audience participation.

Also, maybe we could combine this with Noisejam.

On the louder side:

I play in a punk band called Idiot [4] and I know Jim plays in a punk band
called the Nubs [5]; perhaps we can coordinate something given time and
interest.
