for the record,  i believe the noisebridge-announce list should be only 
used for announcements of things happening at noisebridge or relating 
directly to noisebridge.

people signing up to the announce list might be expecting a low-volume 
list with only announcements about noisebridge stuff and we should respect 
that.

the discuss list, however, is more of a free forum and i think it is 
normal to get posts with information with no explanation, and i ignore a 
lot of stuff that comes down the discuss pipe without being bothered by 
it.
