[Noisebridge-discuss] Free 61" Samsung HLN617W DLP TV - free but needs lamp, or ballast

Hi,

I have a Samsung 61" DLP TV that runs for several minutes before shutting
down. In doing some research seems to be three possible causes, a bad fan,
bad ballast, or bad bulb. I've checked the three fans and all are good.
That leaves the ballast ($35), or perhaps the bulb ($45). I don't have the
time to figure out which (there are some simple tests you can do) so it's
free to anyone who'd like it. It's in great physical condition, and I can
imagine that the light engine could be repurposed for some creative use. I
can drop it by NB, or anywhere in the Mission-ish.
