What is your budget? Adobe work = worth spending more. Using it for six
years makes the investment even more worth while.

The weakest point of that system is the lack of an SSD, or solid state
drive. You will certainly want one. It would be totally worth running two
of them in Raid0 to improve rendering using Adobe, while backing everything
up to your existing 500gb drive.

Once you go to 4gb of ram you will need a 64-bit operating system.

Also, that videocard is an older generation with heat issues and low
performance among the 4gb crowd. I also see no one is using it in higher
end machines.

16gb of ram is a worthy investment for your work as I almost max out my 8gb
without doing Adobe work or gaming. Kingston HyperX is 1600mhz, quad
channel, and at the absolute top in terms of performance for a little more.

500w Silverstone at 80% efficiency is not very powerful and 1 year is not a
good warranty. 5 year warranties are common. I'd recommend 700w (or
more), modular, with a 5 yr warranty.

That AMD card is well behind Intel on performance[1]. It compares in the
review to an I3, which you will not want once you've hooked up to the TV.
Buy an Intel I7, or save up for one. You will notice the difference if
you purchase anything less.

If you keep your current setup, I would recommend getting a quality
screw-less case, higher quality powersupply (700w+ modular w/5 yr
warranty), a good quality CPU cooler, arctic silver 5 thermal paste, and
good fans[2]. If noise is a serious concern and this thing is running
24/7, it is worth shifting gears towards watercooling. Buying all these
boring, but critical little parts was the single best move I've ever made
as a system builder.
