Maybe we could do a little work and double up the latching mechanisms
with a magnetic lock as well?

Right now, the buzzer strike plate takes *all* the force of the gate
being pushed or wiggled back and forth.

The easiest thing would be to just swap out a new buzzer, and just
accept that as the cost of securing the place. But, I think we could
reduce the strain on it with something else to keep the gate firmly in
place, so it's not always hitting hard on the buzzer plate.
