Thanks, Martin. if it was only a matter of one particular Rebase meeting 
that i could not attend, that might be an option. But i feel the Rebase 
meeting time and day are unreasonable (being on the same day as general 
meeting), and inconvenient (being at 6pm, too early in the workday).

i also maintain that the Discussion List is an appropriate venue for 
discussion.

(also, Jarrod today referred to list-discussion as a legit part of 
Rebase decision process, as it should be).
