Well, I think the original idea is to get people started hacking. Some
people 'want to do something', but don't really have a good idea what to
do, how to get started etc. Having a list of ideas to choose from using
stuff from the space is probably helping people getting started.

Whether things are sellable is another question - there might not be many
external people interested in it; but at least filling shelves with some
'less entropy' devices might already be good.
